Who would refuse to learn to cook the best dishes of one of the most emblematic cuisines of Peru. The Cusco cuisine keeps its best recipes from the Inca and Colonial period for people who want to share these culinary secrets.
DAY 1.- Traditional Cooking Workshop Cusco
Our day starts at the family home of our guide where we can enjoy a good traditional breakfast with breads Oropesa, Cusqueños tamales, white corn, cheese and cusqueño good organic coffee Quillabamba Valley.
Then we will make an interesting hike through the traditional streets to the Chocolate Museum where we have the chocolate preparation classes and know the history of this magical grain. Much was discussed where it flourished for the first time this plant, but according to latest research, specifically its South American origin Orinoco Amazon is accepted. Cocoa he is always related to magic rituals of life and love. PRACTICAL INFORMATION FOR THE CIRCUIT
In this following part, we will details several points to consider, useful information and we will give you some advises in order to travel safely in each of our tours.
GENERAL INFORMATION ON OUR COUNTRY:
VISA: All the travellers have to refer themselves to the closest Peruvian Consulate in order to check which visa is needed.
LANGUAGE: The official language in Peru is the Spanish, spoken by 73% of the population and the Queschua, spoken by 24% of the Peruvians. The English language is spoken in most of the hotels and touristic malls.
MONEY: The official money is “El nuevo sol s” with symbol “S/.”. You will find soles notes of 10, 20, 50, 100 and 200 nuevos soles and also coins of 1 y 5 nuevos soles.
It also exists money of 10, 20 and 50 centimes.
The US dollar and Euros are accepted and the exchange rate is constantly refreshed.
TIPS: Some of the restaurants consider that 10% of the total amount is distributed for the tips. On one hand, the taxis don’t expect to receive tips but on the other hand, the guide, for example, expect a tips of 3 US dollars per day and per person.
PHOTOS: If you want to take a picture of local people, you have to ask for permission first and in some places, taking pictures or videos are forbidden and could lead to some costs.
ELECTRICITY: The voltage in Peru is 120 volts so you can use a 220/110 transformer for the electronic machines. You can buy this in Peru.
PERUVIAN GASTRONOMY: Our gastronomy is really various. The typical dish of our country is “the cebiche” (Pieces of fish or seafood cooked with lemon), “aji de gallina” ( cooked with a spicy sauce composed of chili pepper and milk), “anticuchos” (Skewer of pieces of meat or beef heart cooked with carbon). We also have a typical Peruvian cocktail “Pisco Sour” composed of Pisco, lemon, egg white and jelly syrup.

ADVICES TO AVOID PROBLEMS DURING YOUR TOUR:
HEALTH: We recommend you to go visit your doctor before travelling in here in order to have all the information about the sick of height and to have all the medications needed in this case. If you visit the Peruvian Andes, don’t forget to take all the precautions to avoid the sick of height. A tea or infusion with coca leaf will help you with this sickness. For the first day, walk slowly and take a light dish. This information are really important when you will book a tour in height places.

You have to take precautions because you will be at an altitude more tan 3400 metres on the sea level.

- Warm clothes for the afternoon because of the temperature.
- Water bottle (In some place of Peru, the water is potable but we recommend you to drink from a mineral water bottle).

Activities: All the activities additional that the agency didn’t offer as a service, implies a cost that the agency won’t cover.
Prices: The Price will depend of the passengers number and the type of service (private bus or public bus, hotels according to the category, private guide or not, if included or not the entrances).
All this aspects will give us an idea about the cost of your touristic package.
Travel company payment policies
- Deal with the fact to some booking with the best anticipation ever by taking in consideration that your booking could be given in high season so we try to ensure the respective spaces of your requirement both in trains as the entrances and the services that we can add to your booking.
- The payments can be in cash.
- In the case of a credit card payment, we will send you a respective form. The credit card which can be use are Master Card and Visa.
- If you want to do the payment through a bank transaction, you can do the transfer deposit to a bank account of our agency.
- If you want to send money, you can do it with Western Union with the name of the head of the accounting area of your agency.
- All the booking will be confirmed after the payment of 50% of the total amount of the tour.
- The prices are per person and in Soles (Without the IGV), in the case that you need a bill, ticket or receipt for fees, you have to add the IGV to the net price of our tariff.
- The service will be effective upon presentation of the receipt or cancellation in cash. We do not accept payment after the service.
- Any change of the itinerary without an early communication from the agency, can be communicate with the contact number.
- Doesn’t include any type of heath or life insurance.
- If you don’t come at time for the tour, any additional cost will be at your charge.
- Our tour starts at the points mentioned in each programs.
- If you lose your tour, the agency doesn’t refund the tour.
- The agency has the right to cancel or edit the itinerary if the life of the participants is threatening or the activities.
